Heather Osial  Currently, we are studying fiction with elements of the other units splashed in here and there as appropriate. We will continue this unit until November. Next we will enter into nonfiction, then research (coupled with the Science Fair), and then finish off the year with our poetry unit. Of course, writing will be done all along and assessed at the end of the year. Already, I'm enjoying working with all of your students, many of whom are the younger siblings of students I taught in past years. :)
